Looking for something to do today?

If the weather's become a bit too waring and you're up for a change of scenery, then fear not as Kids' Lincs has some
great ideas for days out to please all the family!
Yesterday (Monday) I took my three-and-a-half year old son up to Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre, which is near Sleaford. It's a small museum about the RAF and the Cranwell Air Base staffed by welcoming and knowledgeable
guides who are always on hand to talk you through the interactive exhibits.
Fred really enjoyed the flight simulator and the supply drop skills test, as well as being able to get up close to
inspect a real, live airplane!
The Aviation Heritage Centre is open seven days a week until 31 October and from 10.30am until 4pm. There's no entrance fee,
and on 13 and 14 September as part of the Lincolnshire Heritage Trail, the Centre is hosting a Heritage Open Day. But don't
wait until then! It's a real gem that has something for all ages. (The Maize Maze is also open for business next door!)
