Tallington Lakes Adventure Weeks and Adventure 28 July–22 August
Club
Activities will include kayaking, canoeing, raft building, skiing, tobogganing, climbing as well as a weekly
barbecue and prize giving in events that are designed to give youngsters a taster for each activity.

Adventure World at the NK Centre

For a whale of an adventure try out
Adventure World; a unique soft play area
over different levels. Slither down the slides
and fly across the sky glide! Fight your way
through the ball pool and wriggle through
the rollers! Climb up the cargo nets and
bounce through the big balls!

Crash Courses at the NK Centre

This holiday the NK Centre is offering three new
water courses for children to take part in! Each session lasts 45 minutes (£15 per week. Diving £12 for
the week)
Water Polo
28 July–1 August
Learn how to play waterpolo in this course, which
will be a mixture of learning technique for
matches and playing to improve your skills.
Junior Lifeguard
4–8 August
On this course you will work towards becoming a Rookie Lifeguard, following the RLSS certificate. You will learn how to rescue
troubled swimmers in both open water and
swimming pool situations.
Diving
25–29 August
Seen the Olympic divers and want to learn? Then join in this course to learn the fundamentals of platform diving.

Drumming Workshops with Julie Wright

Join us in an exciting workshop where you’ll learn traditional West African rhythms on traditional drums, producing
beats that will send you away with a smile on your face and rhythm in your bones.

NITS Go Victorian
4–8 August 2008 (£55 for the week)
Create a musical play in a week with the Nearly Instant Theatre Sessions and perform it for family and friends! You’ll
get to practise your singing, dancing and acting skills and make a host of new friends along the way. The workshops are partly
pre-structured and partly improvised, open to 7–16-year-olds and suitable for beginners and experienced performers.
The performance will be on Friday 8 August at 3.00pm.

Stop Motion Animation Workshop with Vikaas Mistry

Vikaas will lead you through the processes of making a ‘claymation’ film from storyboard, script writing and filming.
